What does it mean to properly
insure a home?
Everyone has heard of horror stories where people thought they
were covered under their home insurance policy. At Erb and Erb we
take the time to carefully discuss with you the options and
limits you require. We really want you to fully understand the home
insurance protection you are buying.
We offer home insurance products from 16 different insurers,
which means we can source the most competitive and complete
coverage that will meet your needs for the protection you
need.
Once our insurance advisor understands your
requirements, we will make an appointment for one of our
qualified in-house inspectors to visit your home to measure and
take photos. This ensures we cover your home to its full
replacement value with guaranteed replacement cost.
We don't guess, we actually do the
work that is necessary to ensure you protected.
What types of

Similar to home insurance, the basic needs of a condominium
unit owner are to provide proper coverage for their investment. In
most cases, the Condominium Corporation covers the "standard unit"
and the unit owner is responsible for supplying the remaining
coverage.
Often, residents of condos assume the have adequate coverage
through their condo corporation, but that is rarely the
case.
A good insurance policy contains coverage that will extend to
those sections that are not fully insured by the Condominium
Corporation's master policy. We help you to decipher what areas are
covered and what areas are not -- remember, we
are on your side!
We extend condominium insurance to all types of condos,
including:
- Primary Residences
- Secondary Residences
- Seasonal Condominiums
Are your belongings insured if there is a fire or other loss?
If you rent or lease, you are responsible for insuring your
personal goods within the structure you rent.
The landlord who owns the structure (house, apartment or
townhouse) carries the responsibility to cover the structure, but
you as the rent must cover your belongings and any legal
liability.
Presently our insurance brokers are licensed to offer personal
insurance products to residents of Ontario, Canada.
